Andrew Tarbet was born in Buffalo NY in 1971. Growing up and attending school in Boston Mass he began his acting career at the Huntington and American Repertory Theatres.

Moving to Canada in 1990, Andrew attended the prestigious National Theatre School of Canada in Montréal where he collaborated with other talented actors such as Sandra Oh, Kristen Thompson and Kari Matchett (with whom he co-stars with in APARTMENT HUNTING). During his time at N.T.S. Andrew traveled to Moscow to study under Oleg Tabakov at the Moscow Art Theatre.

In 1993 Andrew ran away with the circus. For the next two and a half years, Andrew traveled the globe with the world renound circus companyCirque du Soleil' playing the role of Le Baron, Ringmaster in their production of SALTIMBANCO.
