Born and raised in Sarnia, Ontario Kathleen Climie has spent the last 10 years working with some of the most talented filmmakers and craftspeople in Canada today.

A graduate of York University with a degree in theatre production and design, Kathleen Climie began her career working across Canada in professional theatre as a set designer before moving to film in 1990 to work on Deepa Mehta's award winning first feature SAM AND ME.

Immediately following, Kathleen worked on Atom Egoyan's THE ADJUSTER which would be the first of three Egoyan films that Kathleen art directed, followed by EXOTICA and THE SWEET HEREAFTER. Kathleen was nominated in 1997 with Production Designer Phillip Barker, for a Genie Award for Best Production Design. Kathleen went on to design for Barker on his 1998 directorial effort THE SOUL CAGES.
