Valérie
Jeanneret - Celine
Born in Quebec City, Valérie Jeanneret was drawn into the
theatre at the very early age of six. Following a ten year
study of dance at Les Grands Ballets and a year at the National
Circus School of Canada Valerie began to make her transition
into acting.
Beginning in Children's theatre she moved into television
work with the sitcom, RADIO-ENFER, the highly-rated Quebec
television drama, URGENCE and CHARTRAND ET SIMONE. Between
performing on stage and in a number of short-dramas in Montreal's
indie scene, Valérie also works doing voice over work for
the french language versions of many feature films. Most notably,
Valérie was the voice of Sarah Polley's character Nicole Burnell
in Atom Egoyan's THE SWEET HEREAFTER.
APARTMENT HUNTING is Valérie feature film debut and has quickly
followed up that success with a principal role in Daniel Langlois'
production of THE BARONESS AND THE PIG.
