Wyeth
Clarkson - Editor
Wyeth Clarkson has been immersed in the film industry for
as long as he can remember. After graduating Queen's University
with B.A. in Film Studies Wyeth began his professional career
training and assisting under some of Canada's top picture
editors including Susan Shipton, David New and others. In
developing his formal style of editing, Wyeth cites his experiences
on David Wellington's LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT, Gail
Singer's YOU CAN'T BEAT A GOOD WOMAN and Atom Egoyan's BACH
SUITE IV as most influential.
In 1997 Wyeth entered the inaugural Editor's Lab program at
the Canadian Film Centre where he edited numerous projects
with co-resident directors including Andrew Currie's NIGHT
OF THE LIVING. In the following year he edited Chris Grismer's
feature debut CLUTCH which premiered at the 1998 Toronto International
Film.
