UNCUT (UK) - December 2003
by Chris Roberts

The first thing O'Hara aficionados will want to know is where to learn more about this holiest of grails (obviously it wasn't released in the UK), for which try info@apartmenthunting.com And you should hunt this down like a wild beast hunting a furry little dinner. I can't quite take in how fine it is, which was the reaction most of us had to Miss America. Any concerns about not using up the entire Roundup section waffling on about one record go out the window when you hear the tremors of RAIN. Or, "Dream I Had". Or "If You See My Love".

She's cooling, gurgling doing that soulful strange strangled spooky idiot savante possessed-visionary-testifying thing, and it's out there on its own. The smattering of tracks not by her, however worthy, sag. She has the gift, and it's frightening how rarely it's heard. Oh [if] that O'Hara was heard more.
